Our platform interacts with 911 callers and victims of crime by communicating with them directly to keep them updated and gather their feedback.

We are seeking a customer-centric, details-driven Deployment Engineer to ensure that we are providing a smooth and efficient deployment process for our customers. The Deployment Engineer is responsible for managing the technical action items for each deployment process, with the primary focus of deploying custom interfaces to a variety of different public safety software systems. This is a client-facing position, which would require remote presentation and communication skills on a regular basis. Deployment Engineers must have a strong ability to collaborate effectively both internally and externally, have the ability to overcome complex problems, and the ability to deploy solutions in an organized, thorough, and timely manner.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting public safety software systems, a strong passion for supporting the public safety profession, and comfort interacting with police executives and other professional staff.

There is a possibility for occasional travel for on-site deployments.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customer agencies to plan, present, and implement technical interfaces.
  • Collaborate with the deployment teams to build sustainable deployment processes and infrastructure.
  • Support customers in a technical capacity throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Need to Have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (this is a customer-facing role)
  • 2+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role
  • 4+ years experience in Information Technology (or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science)
  • Ability to relate to and understand the customer’s needs in order to build relationships and drive customer success
  • Proficiency with PowerShell
  • Proficiency with SQL - experience with Microsoft SQL a plus
  • A passion for detail and keeping customers happy
  • A desire to help public safety agencies
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Preference for Candidates With:

  • Background in Law Enforcement or Public Safety
  • Background in Public Safety or Government IT
  • Windows Domain Administration experience
  • Experience managing technical projects
  • Data analysis experience
  • Familiarity with Jira
